Manitoba Skilled Worker Overseas language evidence for TEER 4 and 5
Manitoba requires applicants in TEER 4 or 5 occupations to reach at least CLB 4 in English or NCLC 4 in French under Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO). Use your actual duties to confirm the occupation code and check each language ability. The pathway also requires at least 60 eligibility points and a qualifying Manitoba connection.
Read the four IELTS scores separately
On Manitoba’s IELTS General Training table, CLB 4 corresponds to listening 4.5, reading 3.5, writing 4.0 and speaking 4.0. A reading score of 3.0 falls below the threshold even if the other abilities meet it. Record the test version and the benchmark for each ability.
Check the date for each application stage
For the MPNP Online application, take the approved test no more than two years before submitting. If your results are close to expiring while your Expression of Interest is in the pool, check them against your anticipated full application date. The Employer Direct Initiative has a separate submission date for Employer Services and its own thresholds: CLB or NCLC 5 for TEER 0 to 3 and 4 for TEER 4 or 5.
