How to answer a Manitoba SWM request for additional employment evidence
Start with the request itself. Note what Manitoba wants to verify, the response deadline and how it asks you to submit the material. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) may use the email address or phone number on your application to ask for more information. Keep the notice and your file number with the documents you prepare.
Match each question to a record
If the request asks when you started full-time work, distinguish your original start date from the date your full-time schedule began. Check the employment agreement, payroll records and employer letter against those dates. Where the records differ, briefly explain why and identify the evidence that supports each date. If the request asks about one period, answer for that period first.
A company might use a trading name in an offer and a legal name on payslips. Ask the employer to explain the connection in writing and identify a contact who can verify your actual duties, hours and employment dates.
Report changes that happened after submission
During assessment, Manitoba instructs applicants to report changes to submitted information through the Skilled Worker Webform. If you have changed employers or your work authorization has changed, set out what was true when you submitted the application, when it changed and what is true now. Follow the submission instructions in any separate request for evidence and keep a copy of both submissions.
Work from the deadline in the notice
If an employer cannot provide a requested record in time, use the contact instructions in the notice to explain what is missing, what you have done to obtain it and when you expect it. Ask how to proceed and continue working from the stated deadline unless Manitoba tells you otherwise. Keep the final files and any submission confirmation together.
If you need help reviewing the response, prepare the request, your original employment evidence and records of any changes for 卓越移民 Premiervisa Group.
