Victoria 190 Fees 2026–27: ROI, Nomination, GST and Refunds
For 2026–27, Victoria’s state fees are AUD60 for the ROI and AUD180 for a subclass 190 nomination application, both before GST. These are separate charges; the nomination fee is paid if invited and applying. They are not the full cost of obtaining the visa.
Check which payment you are making
Stage | Before GST | With GST |
ROI | AUD60 | AUD66 |
190 nomination | AUD180 | AUD198 |
The official schedule applies 10% GST if the applicant is in Australia at the time of payment. The form calculates it. Use the applicant’s actual location at the relevant payment stage; do not assume citizenship or the payment card’s issuing country decides the GST treatment.
For a simple budget, someone paying both stages without GST would allow AUD240 for those two listed state charges. If GST applies to both, the listed charges total AUD264. These are arithmetic examples based on the published schedule, not quotes for professional services or the complete immigration process.
A replacement ROI and a new nomination have different fee rules
Victoria says the ROI fee is charged once per program year, so withdrawing and resubmitting an ROI in the same year does not incur that fee again. A new nomination application fee applies each time a nomination application is submitted. Check the relevant program year and stage before estimating a repeat payment.
Keep each receipt with the applicant, stage, program year, payment date and person who paid. Record a replacement registration separately from an earlier nomination application so that a shared account or consultant invoice does not hide what the payment covered. A receipt confirms payment, not selection or approval.
Understand the refund position before submitting
The refund policy says fees are generally non-refundable; withdrawal, no invitation or refusal does not itself create a refund entitlement. It allows consideration of overcharging, inability to provide the service or circumstances the Department considers appropriate. An overcharge does not automatically make the full service fee refundable. Approved refunds return to the original payment method and payer, including a third-party payer.
If a consultant or another person pays, agree how receipts and any refund will be reconciled. Keep the government charge separate from professional fees and other document expenses. Do not describe a government refund as confirmed until the relevant authority has actually approved and processed it.
Leave room for the later visa process
Home Affairs visa charges are separate from Victorian nomination charges. Its fee overview explains that visa costs can change and depend on when an application is received; applicable payment surcharges may also arise. Check the current charge for the visa and family members concerned rather than adding an old figure from an earlier program year.
Your working budget should also identify applicable assessment, language-testing, translation, medical, police-certificate and agreed professional costs, with a note of what is already paid or still uncertain. For a discussion with 卓越移民 Premiervisa Group, ask for a clear scope and itemised professional fees. Confirm the government schedule again before payment; neither payment nor a budget estimate guarantees an invitation or visa.
