Thailand Privilege Costs: Five Membership Tiers, Application Credits and Upgrade Charges

Thailand Privilege currently lists Bronze at THB650,000 for five years, Gold at THB900,000 for five years, Platinum at THB1.5 million for ten years, Diamond at THB2.5 million for fifteen years and Reserve at THB5 million for twenty years. Reserve is invitation-only. These are membership prices, not a complete relocation or household budget.

Compare availability and services as well as years

The official homepage lists annual privilege points of zero for Bronze, twenty for Gold, thirty-five for Platinum, fifty-five for Diamond and 120 for Reserve. The operator also describes Bronze as a limited offer, so confirm current acceptance before committing to that option.

Longer membership is useful only if it fits the intended stay. Compare services you will actually use, their locations, reservation rules and point requirements. Dividing a headline fee by the number of years is a budgeting exercise; it does not change the payment terms or create work, study or permanent-residence rights.

Do not count the application fee twice

The official Bronze agreement lists a THB50,000 application fee. Its stated treatment is conversion into part of the membership fee upon approval, with refund on rejection under that clause. The membership fee is listed as THB650,000 inclusive of VAT.

Read the applicable invoice and signed terms before combining figures. Do not automatically present the normal price as THB650,000 plus another THB50,000, and do not assume an old application-fee waiver is currently available. An intermediary's service charge is a separate item requiring its own description.

Upgrading is not simply paying the price difference

The Bronze agreement separately lists a THB150,000 upgrade fee and additional membership amounts. For a move to Gold, the listed difference is THB250,000 in addition to that upgrade fee. It also states timing requirements and makes the resulting term subject to the upgrade notice.

This is an example from the reviewed Bronze terms, not a promise that every future upgrade uses the same figures. Compare direct purchase against a later upgrade using the actual notice and agreement. Do not assume a new full term automatically starts on the upgrade date.

Quote family arrangements individually

A principal membership does not automatically include every relative. Check each person's eligibility, relationship documents, tier and term. A promotional family figure should enter the budget only after its complete eligibility, submission and payment conditions have been confirmed.

An old advertisement is insufficient evidence of a current entitlement. Keep written quotations per person, and address work or formal education separately. A correct household total is still an unsuitable plan if the permissions do not cover what the family intends to do.

Add government, documentation and living expenditure

The operator's stay-extension guidance currently lists THB1,900, subject to adjustment by the Immigration Bureau. This is separate from membership pricing. Other actual documentation, professional and service costs should be itemised rather than hidden inside a general package label.

Housing deposits, rent, healthcare, insurance, transport and school fees require a separate household budget. Use actual quotations and realistic cash-flow dates. Benefits in a membership brochure should not be assigned invented cash values or treated as comprehensive medical cover.

Review payment and cancellation exposure

Membership expenditure is not a recoverable bank deposit. Read the specific refund, termination and upgrade provisions before payment; the Bronze agreement treats different termination circumstances differently. Obtain clarification of the clauses relevant to the intended purchase.

For foreign-currency funding, retain the original Thai-baht amount, the conversion date, bank charges and actual receipt. Separate money sent, money received, membership approved and visa completed in the records. That allows a meaningful cost comparison without promising a fixed foreign-currency price or an immigration result.
