France Talent Founder Funding Evidence: Project Financing, Living Resources and Currency Records

For France's talent business-creation branch, the minimum EUR30,000 project financing and the resources needed for the applicant and family serve different purposes. The official document list recognises own or borrowed funds invested in the project. Evidence should show what is available, who owns it and how it supports the proposed business; an asset valuation or expected sale is not the same fact as available cash.

Fix the branch before preparing the financial summary

The business-creation branch has a specific financing condition alongside background, project and living-resource requirements. The innovative economic project and direct-investment branches have their own tests. Do not use EUR30,000 as a universal figure for every route described as a French startup or investment visa.

Record the intended branch in the working file. A financial table should support that actual route rather than combine different thresholds into an advertised package. Paying a private provider is also a separate transaction, with its own commercial scope.

Connect financing to the real project

Prepare a schedule showing funding source, holder, original currency, amount, availability and intended use. Link it to actual business costs and stages. Product development, premises, equipment and professional work have different timing, and the plan should reflect what this particular activity requires.

Keep amounts already paid, contractually committed and merely forecast in separate columns. The minimum financing condition does not mean that every project costs the same or that expenditure above the minimum is unnecessary. Equally, increasing an unsupported budget does not prove that money exists.

Make ownership and borrowing understandable

Retain original bank and transaction records, with relevant agreements where funds are borrowed or transferred. An internal transfer between the applicant's accounts should not be counted repeatedly as newly generated income. If a large credit has a distinct source, preserve the documents that explain it.

Company assets and personal resources should be identified separately. Holding shares does not mean the shareholder can treat all company cash as personal spending money. Where ownership or access is complex, obtain the appropriate accounting or legal assessment rather than hiding the structure in a single balance figure.

The published reference to borrowed resources does not mean every loan arrangement is automatically accepted. Explain the actual lender, conditions, repayment responsibility and availability so the evidence can be assessed against the applicable requirement.

Keep original currencies and dates

Applicants using overseas funds should retain the original denomination and period before preparing the euro summary. Follow the relevant conversion requirements and explain the basis consistently. A favourable exchange rate selected without context should not silently replace the underlying transaction record.

Check when money will actually be available to the correct person or business. A planned transfer, a pending sale and cleared available funds are different stages. This practical timeline helps identify a real funding gap before the business needs to pay an expense.

Build a separate household resource schedule

The official talent guidance separately requires resources for the applicant and family at the applicable minimum-wage basis. Project financing does not automatically satisfy that requirement. The household's real needs can also exceed a regulatory minimum, depending on housing, dependants and other commitments.

List confirmed personal resources and continuing obligations, including expenditure outside France where relevant. Expected business profit or a spouse's future job should remain an assumption until supported by the actual facts. Avoid allocating the same amount in full to both immediate company expenditure and a protected family living reserve.

Reconcile the summary with the application

A useful final review compares the funding schedule, bank evidence, contracts, business plan and personal-resource summary. Names, amounts, dates and purposes should agree, with explanations for genuine differences. A self-prepared spreadsheet organises evidence; it does not replace it.

Government charges, professional services and relocation costs should also be described separately. None is a promise that the project opinion, visa, residence application or business itself will succeed. Clear financial records let an assessor understand the position and let the applicant make commitments based on money that is genuinely available.
