Caribbean Citizenship or Turkey: How to Compare the Options
Updated: 4 days ago
The Caribbean programmes and Turkey should not be compared as interchangeable passports. The relevant choice depends on your citizenship, family composition, available funds, intended travel and willingness to hold or manage an investment. Ask for a comparison based on your case rather than a single advertised minimum.
Compare the exact qualifying route
Identify the jurisdiction and the specific government-approved route. In Turkey, the Investment Office describes property and bank-deposit options with different qualifying amounts and holding conditions. St Kitts and Nevis lists its own contribution and real-estate routes, additional charges and due-diligence requirements. Those examples do not establish a uniform price or a uniform process across all Caribbean countries. Obtain a current, itemised quotation for each shortlisted option.
Separate committed funds from total expenditure
Show government and due-diligence charges, professional fees, documentation and translation, dependants' costs, and any investment purchase or management expenses. Distinguish a non-refundable contribution from an asset or deposit that must remain committed. A possible future sale is not a guarantee that the purchase price will be recovered. Test the plan without optimistic resale, rental-income or currency assumptions.
Check the destinations that matter to you
Compare the actual entry rules for your important destinations, not just a total number of visa-free countries. The UK lists Dominica and Vanuatu among visa-required nationalities; Caribbean passports therefore cannot be advertised as offering identical UK entry rights. Residence and work permissions require separate consideration. If the United States is your objective, examine the relevant visa route before selecting a citizenship programme.
Family and evidence can change the decision
Prepare each family member's age, relationship and dependency information. Compare required documents, interviews, relevant residence or visit obligations, and the practical sequence of payments. Identify issues in nationality history, refusals or funding evidence early. Do not let a proposed price-change deadline replace that review.
How PremierVisa can assist
An initial assessment can narrow the options and identify what requires legal, tax or investment review. A written service scope should explain who handles the application and which third-party work is separate. Citizenship approval, investment returns and future travel rules remain outside a consultant's control.
