Key points before you apply
Skills assessments are conducted by the relevant assessing authorities. The appropriate assessment depends on the occupation and visa pathway. A positive assessment does not itself grant a visa, an invitation or professional registration.
Identify the assessment you need
Discuss IT, engineering, trades or other professional assessment needs, including questions about ACS, Engineers Australia, VETASSESS or TRA. The correct route must be checked for your occupation and circumstances.
Review your documents before submission
Bring a CV, qualification details, transcripts and a summary of work duties and dates. We can discuss missing evidence, inconsistencies and the authority's document requirements.
Plan your migration evidence carefully
An authority's assessment of experience and a visa points claim are not always the same issue. We provide preparation guidance; the authority decides the assessment outcome. No positive result or processing time is guaranteed.
