Australia 485 Graduate Visa Consultation | PremierVisa
Finishing an Australian qualification and unsure what comes next? PremierVisa Group can help you organise a 485 visa consultation around your course, completion date, current visa and next steps. Speak with our Hong Kong team in English before making assumptions about your eligibility.
Start with your course and visa timeline
The Temporary Graduate visa is a temporary visa. Its Post-Higher Education Work stream is for recent graduates with an Australian degree. The Post-Vocational Education Work stream and a possible second regional stream have separate rules. The appropriate stream depends on your qualification and circumstances. A 485 grant does not guarantee permanent residence.
What to prepare for your consultation
Have your current visa subclass and expiry date, course name and provider, qualification level, course completion date, study history and English test details ready. Mention any previous graduate visa, dependants or approaching deadline. You can begin with a short summary; please do not send passport scans or other sensitive documents in your first enquiry.
Questions we can help you work through
Which stream should you investigate? Does your study history need closer review? What evidence may be missing? How should you plan application preparation around your current visa expiry? What should you discuss separately if you later want skilled migration or employer sponsorship? A review starts with your actual circumstances rather than a generic promise.
After graduation: plan the next decision
If your longer-term aim is migration, consider your occupation, skills assessment, work options and any relevant invitation or sponsorship requirements separately. Studying a popular course or obtaining a graduate visa is not an automatic route to PR. Ask for a clear explanation of the proposed service scope, adviser arrangements and fees before committing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I assume all graduates qualify? No. Course details, timing and stream-specific requirements need assessment. Can a consultation guarantee a visa? No. The Department of Home Affairs decides applications. Can I discuss my case in English from Hong Kong? Yes, contact PremierVisa Group to arrange the next step.
Arrange your English consultation
Tell us which visa you are asking about, your current location and your preferred contact time. Our Hong Kong team can explain the next steps and the information needed to scope your enquiry. Visa outcomes are determined by Home Affairs and cannot be guaranteed.
