Australia 482 Skills in Demand Visa Consultation | PremierVisa

Have an Australian employer in mind? Discuss the Skills in Demand visa and prepare a clear list of sponsorship, occupation and applicant requirements.

Key points before you apply

The Skills in Demand visa replaced the Temporary Skill Shortage visa for new subclass 482 applications on 7 December 2024. The relevant stream, nomination and applicant requirements must be checked for your circumstances.

Review your employer sponsored plan

We discuss the proposed role, your employment experience, qualifications and English evidence. Core Skills, Specialist Skills and Labour Agreement cases require a route-specific review.

Prepare a consistent application

Ask us about preparing employment records and supporting documents, coordinating questions with your employer and identifying missing evidence before submission.

Thinking about permanent residence?

A 482 visa does not automatically become permanent residence. If you later consider subclass 186, your eligibility and the employer nomination must be reviewed separately. We do not sell jobs or promise sponsorship.

Speak with our Hong Kong team

PremierVisa Group offers consultations in English. Tell us your current location, the pathway you are considering and your main question. We will discuss the scope of assistance and next steps for your circumstances. Eligibility and outcomes depend on individual facts and the relevant authorities.

Official information

Policy reference checked on 8 October 2026. Requirements may change; check the official source before applying.
