Current program information

Québec currently states that its Investor Program accepts applications at any time, with no maximum number of applications stated on its official intake page. It is a regulated pathway for people who intend to settle in Québec; it is not a job offer, sponsorship, approval or permanent-residence guarantee.

Current eligibility framework

Applicants must meet all current Québec conditions. These may include qualifying management experience, lawful-source evidence of the required net worth, an eligible diploma, French-language ability at the required level, the required investment and financial contribution, and applicable Québec residence obligations. Requirements and evidence should be checked directly against the Québec government’s current instructions.

Selection and federal stage

Québec selection and a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) are followed by a separate federal permanent-residence application and assessment. Québec selection, an investment agreement or a complete application does not guarantee federal approval, permanent residence, timing or citizenship.

Important notice

Do not treat a single combined amount as wholly risk-free or refundable. Government rules distinguish the required investment from the financial contribution; check current official terms and obtain independent financial, legal and tax advice before committing funds.
